The Magazine Association of the Southeast recently awarded the “Union County 2000-2012 The Golden Years” magazine the Bronze Award (3rd Place) in the category of BEST SINGLE ISSUE. It is the only award-winning print publication in Union County in 2013.

The years 2000 to 2012 in Union County featured a wonderful quality of life in a great place to live, work and play. Union County is blessed with flowing streams, waterfalls, abundant wildlife, spectacular flora, forests and magnificent views. The changes that occurred during 2000- 2012 impacted the area as much as (or more than) any other era in the county’s long history.

The accomplishments of it's citizens (and the ability of the county to adapt to an ever changing world) will be remembered as The Golden Years.
